AN ACT ESTABLISHING PROTOCOLS FOR THE SAFEKEEPING OF MEDICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require home health agencies and hospice organizations to establish and display written protocols for the storage and disposal of medications in their facilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish protocols for the safekeeping of medications.
