AN ACT CONCERNING DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH STANDARDS FOR AND OVERSIGHT OF ONSITE SUBSURFACE SEWAGE TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL SYSTEMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to transfer funds from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to the Department of Public Health for the purpose of creating technical standards for and the oversight of onsite subsurface alternative sewage treatment and disposal systems with a capacity of under three hundred gallons per day.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the Department of Public Health to create technical standards for and provide oversight of onsite subsurface sewage treatment and disposal systems utilizing advanced technology.
