AN ACT REQUIRING CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATORS AT WASTEWATER POLLUTION ABATEMENT FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 22a-416 of the general statutes be amended to require continuing education requirements for operators at pollution abatement facilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To re-engage the wastewater facility operators in the state through professional development in order to better protect the environment and public health.
