AN ACT REQUIRING THE POSTING OF NOTICE WHEN LAND ABUTS OTHER PROPERTY SUBJECT TO AN ENVIRONMENTAL LAND USE RESTRICTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the posting of notice for any land that is being sold that abuts another parcel of property that is subject to an environmental land use restriction.
Statement of Purpose:
To alert potential land buyers that abutting properties may pose a potential health threat to them and their families.
