AN ACT DESIGNATING THE SHORELINE OF THE TOWN OF STRATFORD AS A "NO KILL OR HARVEST ZONE" FOR HORSESHOE CRABS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish the shoreline of the town of Stratford as a "no kill or harvest zone" for horseshoe crabs.
Statement of Purpose:
To preserve the Stratford horseshoe crab breeding grounds for uses such as pharmaceutical development.
