AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL ON MUNICIPAL PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 23-65 and 16-234 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the provisions of section 23-65 of the general statutes apply to trees located on municipal property and that the provisions of section 16-234 of the general statutes apply to trees located on private property.
Statement of Purpose:
To reconcile tree stewardship laws and provide clarity as to the requisite public notice concerning tree removal on municipal property.
