AN ACT CONCERNING CONSUMER RETAIL TRANSACTION RECEIPTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that consumer receipts generated from retail transactions remain legible for a reasonable period of time after the retail transaction has been completed.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that consumer receipts remain legible for a reasonable period of time.
