AN ACT CONCERNING THE FIRST FIVE PLUS PROGRAM AND POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to categorize any business that receives financial assistance through the first five plus program as a state contractor for purposes of title 9 of the general statutes.

Statement of Purpose: 

To require that businesses that receive first five plus funding be considered state contractors to prohibit them from contributing to political campaigns.
