AN ACT REQUIRING THE LICENSING OF TAX PREPARERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the licensing of tax preparers and to create a State Board of Tax Practitioners to issue the licenses and enforce the licensing requirements.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the licensing of tax preparers to protect consumers.
