AN ACT CONCERNING THE AWARD OF ATTORNEY'S FEES FOR WRONGFUL PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-119 of the general statutes be amended to allow an applicant who prevails in a civil action for wrongful property tax assessment to recover reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect property owners from wrongful property tax assessment.
