AN ACT CONCERNING ADOPTION OF THE UNIFORM REAL PROPERTY TRANSFER ON DEATH ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 45a of the general statutes be amended to allow an owner of real property to pass the property simply and directly by operation of law to a beneficiary upon the owner's death without having to utilize the Probate Court system.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an owner of real property to pass the property simply and directly by operation of law to a beneficiary upon the owner's death.
