AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS AND VOLUNTEERING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prospectively prohibit any municipal collective bargaining agreement provision that limits the ability of a municipality to permit individuals to provide volunteer services for the benefit of the municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide financial relief to municipalities.
