AN ACT CONCERNING LOCAL BOARDS OF EDUCATION BUDGETS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow local boards of finance to increase or decrease noneducational expenditures in budgets proposed by local boards of education.
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance oversight and transparency of local boards of education budgets.
