AN ACT AFFIRMING A WOMAN'S RIGHT TO CHOOSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) prohibit any requirement that (A) a physician who provides abortion services shall obtain admitting privileges at a local hospital within a certain distance from the facility at which he or she provides such services, and (B) a health care facility providing abortion services or care shall meet building specifications required of ambulatory surgical centers, and (2) preserve a woman's constitutional rights to pregnancy-related health care.
Statement of Purpose:
To affirm a woman's right to choose.
