AN ACT EXCLUDING PAYMENTS OF OVERTIME FROM THE CALCULATION OF STATE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude payments of overtime from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining state employees' retirement income.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the calculation of a state employee's pension from including overtime pay.
