AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EDUCATOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to establish an educator professional development council, as recommended by the task force on professional development and in-service training requirements for educators created pursuant to special act 16-9, and that the council develop and adopt a procedure for reviewing proposed legislation relating to educator training and professional learning.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish an educator professional development council, as recommended by the task force on professional development and in-service training requirements for educators.
