AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 58 of the general statutes be amended to require state and quasi-public agencies to set aside a certain percentage of state contracts for small businesses whose sales are less than one million dollars annually.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a set aside for small businesses to assist small business growth in the state.
