AN ACT CONCERNING CUSTOMIZED JOB TRAINING INCENTIVES FOR CERTAIN BUSINESSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require the regional community-technical colleges to collaborate with new and expanding businesses to provide training to new employees that is customized to the particular needs of such business.

Statement of Purpose: 

To incentivize businesses to hire untrained and unemployed local residents.
