AN ACT CONCERNING CONTRACTS BETWEEN HEALTH INSURERS AND OPHTHALMOLOGISTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 38a-472h of the general statutes be amended to extend to ophthalmologists the prohibition on insurers setting payment for services or procedures that are not covered benefits under an insurance plan.
Statement of Purpose:
To extend to ophthalmologists the prohibition on insurers setting payment for services or procedures that are not covered benefits under an insurance plan.
