AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to extend the statute of limitations to prosecute crimes of sexual assault to at least ten years.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide justice for victims of rape and sexual assault.
