AN ACT PERMITTING THE POSTING OF LEGAL NOTICES ON MUNICIPAL INTERNET WEB SITES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 1-2 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any provision of the general statutes, the special acts or the charter of any municipality that requires the insertion by a municipality of an advertisement of a legal notice in a daily newspaper shall be construed to permit such notice to be posted on the Internet web site of the municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to post legal notices on their Internet web sites.
