AN ACT CONCERNING MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTORS AS PEACE OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-3 of the general statutes be amended to redefine "peace officer" to include a motor vehicles inspector, designated under section 14-8 of the general statutes and certified pursuant to section 7-294d of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To include motor vehicle inspectors under the definition of a peace officer.
