AN ACT REQUIRING FISCAL NOTES TO INCLUDE AN ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-24a of the general statutes be amended to require that any fiscal note prepared by the Office of Fiscal Analysis include a statement estimating the economic impact of the bill on businesses in the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a cost-benefit analysis and economic impact statement on all proposed legislation.
