AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE PROCESS BY WHICH FUNDS ARE AWARDED BY CONNECTICUT INNOVATIONS, INCORPORATED.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development study the process by which Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated awards state funds to start-up businesses.

Statement of Purpose: 

To study the process by which Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated awards funds to start-up businesses to ensure that taxpayer money is used as effectively as possible.
