AN ACT CONCERNING PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS FOR SUPERINTENDENTS OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to require a local or regional board of education to conduct performance evaluations for the superintendent of schools employed by such board, to submit the results of such performance evaluation in writing and to make such results available to the public.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that performance evaluations for superintendents of schools are completed in a transparent manner.
