AN ACT CONCERNING THE PHASE-OUT OF ALLIANCE DISTRICT FUNDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 10-262u and 10-262j of the general statutes be amended to phase out alliance district funding and to permit local and regional boards of education to reduce their budgeted appropriation for education during such phase-out.
Statement of Purpose:
To gradually reduce alliance district funding and to permit boards of education to reduce their education budgets.
