AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MOTOR VEHICLE TAX EXEMPTION FOR VETERANS AND SENIOR CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish an exemption from the property tax on motor vehicles owned by veterans or senior citizens in the amount of twenty per cent of the assessed value of such motor vehicles.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a motor vehicle tax exemption for veterans and senior citizens.
