AN ACT CONCERNING THE TIMELY COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATION WORK FOR WHICH A BUILDING PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 541 of the general statutes be amended to require that construction or renovation of residential dwellings be completed within three years of the date of issuance of a building permit for such construction or renovation.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that residential building projects are completed within a reasonable time frame.
