AN ACT CONCERNING FEE WAIVERS FOR VETERANS AT PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require the Board of Regents for Higher Education and the Board of Trustees for The University of Connecticut to waive for any veteran the payment of any extension fee for any course in an educational extension program or a summer session.
Statement of Purpose:
To waive certain educational fees for veterans year-round, including during summer and winter terms, at public institutions of higher education.
