AN ACT CONCERNING VETERANS SERVICES AT STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Board of Regents for Higher Education and the Board of Trustees for The University of Connecticut to (1) establish at each state college and university an Operation Academic Support for Incoming Service Members (OASIS) center to provide programs and services to enrolled veterans, and (2) employ at least one person at each OASIS center to provide full-time staffing.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide outreach and assistance to veterans who are enrolled at Connecticut's colleges and universities.
