Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2017) Each manufacturer of concrete aggregate intended for residential use in a concrete foundation shall cause such aggregate to be tested for the presence of the mineral pyrrhotite prior to the use of such concrete aggregate in any foundation. Such manufacturer shall file documentation of the results of such test with the Department of Consumer Protection, on a form as prescribed by the Commissioner of Consumer Protection, and such department shall maintain a copy of such documentation electronically for not less than thirty years.
