AN ACT CONCERNING THE FACTORS TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT IN A HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUM RATE FILING REVIEW.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to include affordability as a factor the Insurance Department shall consider when reviewing health insurance premium rate filings and to establish standards for such factor.
Statement of Purpose:
