AN ACT LIMITING THE SALES AND USE TAXES ON CERTAIN VESSELS AND MOTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to limit to three per cent the sales and use taxes on (1) vessels sold and registered in the state, and (2) motors for such vessels.
Statement of Purpose:
To make the state marine industry more competitive by limiting the sales and use taxes on vessels and motors for such vessels.
