AN ACT CONCERNING THE TRAINING OF INDIVIDUALS STAFFING RESIDENTIAL HOMES LICENSED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the training for individuals staffing residential homes licensed by the Department of Public Health for the dispensing of medication to be the same level of training required for those individuals staffing facilities licensed by the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Social Services.
Statement of Purpose:
To ease the burden placed on certain residential facilities licensed by the Department of Public Health.
