AN ACT REQUIRING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL OF ALL MEDICAID WAIVER RENEWALS AND EXTENSIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-8 of the general statutes be amended to require legislative approval of all Medicaid waiver renewals and extensions.
Statement of Purpose:
To rein in costs by requiring legislative review of all Medicaid waiver renewals and extensions.
