AN ACT INCREASING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR GRANDPARENTS AND OTHER NONPARENT RELATIVES WHO ARE RAISING CHILDREN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-112 of the general statutes be amended to increase the temporary family assistance payment to eligible families.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide an increase in financial assistance to grandparents and other nonparent relatives who have assumed the responsibility of raising needy children.
