AN ACT CONCERNING THE POINT SYSTEM FOR MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-137a of the general statutes be amended to allow the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to reduce the number of points charged against the holder of a motor vehicle operator's license for motor vehicle violations if such holder participates in a driver improvement course or system.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to reduce the number of points charged against the holder of a motor vehicle operator's license if such holder participates in a driver improvement course or system.
