AN ACT REQUIRING EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE REVIEW OF CERTAIN QUASI-PUBLIC AGENCY CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 12 of the general statutes be amended to require all quasi-public agency employment contracts, consulting contracts and separation agreements be submitted to the Attorney General for review and comment and that any such contracts or agreements with an annual cost of over one hundred thousand dollars also be submitted to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of such agency.

Statement of Purpose: 

To increase the oversight and transparency of quasi-public agencies.
