AN ACT INCREASING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 17b-106 and 17b-172 of the general statutes be amended to increase the monthly personal needs allowance for long-term care facility residents who receive medical assistance from sixty dollars to seventy-two dollars and seventy-five cents.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide sufficient funds for the personal needs of long-term care facility residents.
