AN ACT CONCERNING TRAINING FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION HEARING OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (1) of subsection (c) of section 10-76h of the general statutes be amended to require that hearing officers for special education hearings complete training in special education laws and policy.
Statement of Purpose:
To require special education hearing officers to have subject matter expertise.
