AN ACT CONCERNING REQUIREMENTS FOR NATURAL GAS PRODUCERS AND THE REPAIR OF NATURAL GAS LEAKS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 16-34a of the general statutes be amended to:
(1) Apply the same requirements to natural gas producers as are applied to gas companies; and
(2) Require the repair of natural gas leaks within two days of such leak being reported.
Statement of Purpose:
To add requirements for natural gas producers and require repair of natural gas leaks within two days.
