AN ACT EXPANDING THE "REVOLVING DOOR" RESTRICTIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 1-84b of the general statutes be amended to apply the ban on accepting employment as a lobbyist to former employees in the legislative and executive branches with significant decision-making or supervisory responsibility for one year after leaving employment with the legislative or executive branch.

Statement of Purpose: 

To expand the current "revolving door" provision to prohibit senior level legislative and executive branch employees from lobbying for one year after leaving employment.
