AN ACT CONCERNING THE PAINT STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a budget limit for the paint stewardship program's corporate activity and personnel professional fees of not more than four per cent of the total revenue collected by the program and that the budgeted state administrative fees for such program be established at four per cent of the total revenue collected by such program and that the funds from such state administrative fees be utilized for the purpose of developing a recycled paint retail sales program.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage the recycling of paint and the use of recycled paint.
