AN ACT AUTHORIZING RESTAURANTS AND OTHER AMENITIES ON FIXED BARGES UNDER THE COASTAL MANAGEMENT ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 444 of the general statutes be amended to authorize restaurants and other amenities that are not water dependent to be located on fixed barges pursuant to the Coastal Management Act.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage certain economic development along Connecticut's waterfront.
