Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 22a-92 of the general statutes, including, but not limited to, state policy concerning preferences for the siting of water-dependent uses, the coastal site plan for any project involving the siting of one or more commercial food establishments or other economic development related facilities on fixed barges located, in whole or in part, waterward of the coastal jurisdiction line may be approved by any coastal municipality undertaking a review of such plan.
