AN ACT CONCERNING DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE WITH A CHILD AS A PASSENGER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 14 of the general statutes be amended to enhance penalties for persons convicted of driving under the influence with a child as a passenger in the vehicle.
Statement of Purpose:
To create a greater deterrent to endangering children while driving drunk.
