AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE HEALTH REINSURANCE ASSOCIATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Insurance Commissioner shall study and report on (1) the current status of the Health Reinsurance Association, (2) whether the association may resume performance of the functions it performed prior to passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and (3) recommending legislative changes to enable the association to resume performance of such functions.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a study and report on the current status of the Health Reinsurance Association, whether the association may resume performance of the functions it performed prior to passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and recommending legislative changes to enable the association to resume performance of such functions.
