AN ACT REQUIRING LOCAL APPROVAL OF CERTAIN CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AT SILVER SANDS STATE PARK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection be required to obtain the approval of the local legislative body of the town of Milford prior to constructing a maintenance garage, concession stand, viewing stand, entrance booth or any other related construction projects at Silver Sands State Park in the town of Milford.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a moratorium on the construction of a maintenance garage, concession stand, viewing stand, entrance booth and other related construction projects at Silver Sands State Park in Milford until the local legislative body approves of such project or projects.
