AN ACT REQUIRING LOCAL APPROVAL OF CERTAIN CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AT SILVER SANDS STATE PARK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 447 of the general statutes and any regulation adopted pursuant to said chapter, the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection shall not construct any maintenance garage, concession stand, viewing stand, entrance booth or any other facility at the Silver Sands State Park in the town of Milford unless the board of alderman of said town approve such construction.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To establish a moratorium on the construction of a maintenance garage, concession stand, viewing stand, entrance booth and other related construction projects at Silver Sands State Park in Milford until the local legislative body approves of such project or projects.
