AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT PLANS OFFERED BY FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-464a of the general statutes be amended to permit a municipality to contract for, purchase or procure mutual fund-based retirement plans offered by for-profit organizations.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit private companies to offer municipal retirement plans.
